IDENTIGENE DNA Testing Center offers a variety of options in the STR amplification of specimens including Profiler Plus™/COfiler™ or ABI Identifiler™ series as well as Promega’s FFFL multiplex.

Separation is performed using an ABI 3730 multi-capillary gel electrophoresis instrument, followed by analysis using a validated computer program and allelic determinations made with ABI’s Genotyper™ genotyping software.

Alternatively, separation can be performed on the ABI 3100 followed by analysis using Genotyper and DatabankSTR™ software.
